Plate settlers have a unique, patented hydraulic flow control platform that distributes flow evenly throughout the system. The uniform distribution allows for consistent flow rates and low turbidity throughout the settling process, producing effluent of less than 1 NTU in mass, achieving or exceed the regulations. As a result, the plate sinker is recognized as the highest performing, most reliable system available.

Other key design features include laser-cut holes to ensure that all discharge points are identical; and a rigid design that allows the flow control platform to support up to 250 pounds of weight - strong enough to walk during installation and/or inspection.

The hydraulic flow console is composed of stainless steel tubes, and each plate settler has an accurate metering hole on the top to draw the flow evenly.

The flow rate is adjusted by each plate settler and the entire water basin to provide more flow control and the most even distribution.

The effective settlement area is increased by up to eight times, greatly improving the efficiency and productivity. The facility can handle more water without increasing the size of the basin, which greatly improves efficiency and saves costs.
